i just heard abou it today for the 1st time - i was in the teachers room bonding w/ my secretary cuz i had a free and was bored and my global teacher was saying how her daughter was applying so my earth science teacher piped up and said it was her friend who was opening it up - blum and it was meant for bjj girls who arent going to bjj so nope im not going to apply besides new schools are always risky - ecspeacilly the first year.

my school doesnt even give us applications for it and isnt it weird that we know hardly anything about it? ussaly people talk about each sem and discuss it - but not this 1.

so the lady from the sem came to speak in my skool today ...and basically its gonna be a cross between hadar and bjj... thats it in a nutshell! once she said the word hadar- i said forget it!

tiferes sounds like it's gonna be a good, well rounded bais yaakov school.
of course, one can never know for sure until the sem establishes itself, but it sounds like they're aiming for a mixture of bjj, bc and bs.

but it will quite possibly become something totally different.
see which girls are applying from your school and from others.
remember, an application does not mean that you have to attend.

once you get accepted, see which girls accepted their acceptance and let the sem know they're coming.

do this for both nachalas and tiferes.

i know others who used this method for a firt year sem and were very happy with their choices.
