ok so my michlala interview was pretty good but very stressful!!! Rabbi Pollack interviewed and he is brilliant so very intimidating but he was really nice and started off by joking about how intimidating these interviewers can be. He didnt ask any of those weird seminary interview questions.... just basic questions that he was asking from looking at my application about my family and school- all stuff that i wanted to talk about anyway. He wanted to know why i wanted to learn in eretz yisroel, then he asked me what i was learning in chumash and told me to choose a rashi that i wanted to read so i chose one that i knew well. I read it well and totally knew what i was talking about but then he asked a ton of questions about it and getting very deep into it so i was getting a little lost and very nervous but he helped me out and i got it. Then he asked what was my favorite hebrew and english subject and asked me what i was learning in the ones i chose. He also asked if i knew what i wanted to major in in college but he didnt expect that i would know forsure. 12 girls in my grade applied and he didnt ask 2 of them to read a rashi it was weird but wtvr... the interview was at least 20 minutes and i hope that i was ok! i am really not looking forward to more interviews!! good luck e/o!!!!- FAIGY
