Well it is still a possibility but I doubt I will apply. My school is very against it so I don't know if it's worth it.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that since we started SeminaryGirls ChedvaNews has been totally sleeping? No one has posted there in over a week! the conclusion? We dominate the blog- and the camp.
Chochmas Lev is not one of the popular sems.
chochmas lev is a new semianry so it hasnt hit it yet...i mean all these types of seminarys are necissary..def. regardless because girls will end up going if they have to or want to

can e/o also please write by each post around how many girls they know from thier school are applying to that sem? that way we can have a rough idea of our competition - also if we see that a lot of girls are applying from one school it may say somthing about tht particular sem.
great idea! but i think they try to accept girls from ea. skool by the ratio of how many apply... so ur really only in competition w/ the girls from ur skool.

dont worry im sure we'll have plenty of israel reunions and you can jion when youre on vacation. many of us who have never gone to school togther will probably end up in sem tog spending the yr tog - just an intersting thought... i mean lately e/o whos posting is saying that they want to go where i do lets just see if we all get in (imy"h!)..
i think that each school has a certin amount of spots in each sem.
well so far i think 7 girls are applying to my school for mesilos and 8 to meohr a ton to bjj bya and bc and like 3 to cl 1 to pninim and a handful to seminar and shoshanim. its crazy how competitive it is - its all ppl talk about!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh im so jealous of all of you!!! i want to go back now! can i just add how funny the whole seminary thing is? everyone has the dream sem that they would like to be accepted to- well everyone should have their ideas by now- but anyway life isnt so fair and you dont get accepted to the sem of your choice. can i tell you guys something? its really really for the best. you definatly wont see it rite away but at the end of seminary you realise that your rejection letter was actually from Hashem. let me explain. first of all your eyes get open and you realise that either you would not have survived the types of girls, or the hard work in the sem of your dreams. i only no of one girl my age who really regretted her year in seminary because it wasnt the best sem. second of all i have two great true first hand shiduch stories: 1- a girl wasnt accepted to any by sem- only db- wich really wasnt her type. her roommate was her shadchan. end of story. you see yad Hashem rite away. 2- a girl didnt get accepted to any sem. she was ultimate by and only a really not that type of sem accepted her in the end. she is currently engaged to her friend from sems bro- this friend red it. these stories would not have happened if those girls were accepted at their choice sem. basically after your first reaction of dissapointment remember that everything happens as a result of siata d'shmaya. i really hope that you all get accepted to the sem thats the best for you! im so nervous for you all!

remember when you are posting where you are applying dont think oh cuz she is applying there lets go there too..do what is best for you ..not because your friend is going there or you want to be in seminary together because soemtimes what is good for your friend may not be good for you in different levals
true but whos applying also says a lot about the sem and the type of girls going that year. the teachers and classes are only one part of what gives a sem its reputation - the girls make or break it.
i think that it's a mixture of both the school and the girls and it is impossible to say which is more important.
Right of course it is..but at the end of the day..the type of girls that apply to each seminary usually are for that type..majority of the girls...i am saying amongst friends specificly too..don't look out to go with ur close friends
